There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Eastman: Page 2, line 16: Delete "discharged under honorable conditions from service in" Insert "who is a veteran of" Page 2, line 28, following "section,": Insert "(1)" Page 2, line 30: Delete "(1)" Insert "(A)" Page 2, line 31: Delete "(2)" Insert "(B)" Page 3, line 1: Delete "(A)" Insert "(i)" 2020-03-17 House Journal Page 1909 Page 3, line 2: Delete "(B)" Insert "(ii)" Page 3, line 4: Delete "." Insert "; (2) "veteran" means a person honorably separated from military service described in (a) of this section (A) for at least 181 days (i) between September 16, 1940, and December 31, 1947; (ii) between June 27, 1950, and October 14, 1976; (iii) between August 2, 1990, and January 2, 1992; (iv) beginning September 11, 2001, and ending on the day prescribed by Presidential proclamation or by law as the last date of Operation Iraqi Freedom; or (v) during any period listed in 5 U.S.C. 2108(1); or (B) because of injury or disability incurred in the line of duty."
